The Beginning..

Kevin P. Burke attended Southwest Texas State University from 1988 - 1992. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. He sat for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Exam in May 1994, passing all four parts of the CPA Exam in one sitting!

In 1994, Mr. Burke began law school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. During law school he focused in business and tax law. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University, School of Law in 1997. Kevin sat for the Tax State Bar Exam shortly thereafter and became a licensed attorney in the State of Texas in November of 1997.

Time To Work..

From 1997 to 1999, Kevin worked for an attorney in San Antonio, Texas, practicing primarily tax and business law. In September of 1999, he joined the Law Offices of Charles A. Granstaff in San Antonio and stayed until 2002, furthering his work in the areas of estate planning, tax and business law. While with the Granstaff firm, Kevin also completed the work requirements to become a licensed CPA and was licensed in May of 2002 as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Out On His Own..

In February of 2002, Kevin set up his own solo practice. He serves as retained general counsel to Prime Source Management, a Texas based Professional Employer Organization(PEO), and currently maintains a small private practice in the same general areas of estate planning, tax and business law.
